Norway: final part & full itinerary

The last stretch of our month-long Norway trip was everything we hoped it would be. We were a bit worried that the last few days would feel rushed because we bought our ferry ticket in advance, but we had a great time.

On this road trip we’ve experienced almost every weather condition, from sunshine to snow. We drove through about every type of scenery we could imagine, from beaches to mountains. We’ve had some lazy days hanging out in the van and some picture perfect hiking adventures. But most importantly: we loved every minute of it.

The last days

The weather was so gloomy and wet those last days that we hardly took any pictures, combine that with me being sick for at least two of them and you know why there aren’t many side notes or pictures of this part.

That being said, it was still beautiful and our last scenic routes were absolutely stunning. After our glacier adventure we drove along five nasjonal turist veger to get to our final destination. From there we would drive in one straight line to the ferry and then homewards.

I never realized how beautiful the beaches are in Norway before this trip. Did you know you can even surf in Norway!? Somehow we found everything we love in one country.

Our complete route itinerary

Instead of listing all places we visited again I thought a map of how exactly we drove would be more useful. For a bit more detail and lots of pictures of our route, have a look at part 1, part 2 and part 3 of our Norway road trip.

I’ve started sorting my photos and I get giddy all the time. I just have to go back 😉
